Samantha Oxendine embodies the spirit of resilience and innovation. She is a dynamic force in the insurance industry and an inspiring leader at Preferred Partners Insurance. With a Master’s Degree in Legal Studies from Florida State University, Samantha brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as the VP of Insurance. Her career is a testament to resilience and adaptability, with roots in Omaha, NE as a Lancôme makeup artist where she quickly transitioned to managing their Tampa location before pivoting to insurance with a critical role at USAA in 2014. Known for fostering cultural shifts towards direct communication and client relationships, she played a key role in transforming the company’s approach. Her passion for the industry is fueled by a genuine belief in the necessity of insurance as a safeguard for our financial futures.
Samantha’s leadership is characterized by an unwavering commitment to team growth and empowerment. Recognized for her ability to see potential in others, she champions growth, providing the support needed to achieve personal and professional goals. Her philosophy is simple but powerful—empower you to grow as far as you want to grow.
Beyond her professional life, Samantha is a dedicated wife and proud football mom, deeply connected to the sport through her family. Her husband, a former Buccaneer, and her son, a talented high school receiver, keep football close to her heart. Her family is her true anchor, with three children at different stages: a daughter in college, a son in high school, and a daughter in elementary. September is an especially lively month for the family, as all three children celebrate their birthdays within the same exciting week!
Samantha’s passion for creativity extends to her hobbies as well, where she crafts custom t-shirts, tumblers plus more, and expresses her artistic flair through tattoo artistry, particularly in the paramedical field. This aligns with her early dream of being a plastic surgeon, driven by a desire to help people feel whole and confident, and the belief that confidence in one’s appearance can unlock the unachievable.
She finds joy in every creative endeavor and loves celebrating all seasons, but mostly those where the celebration includes lighting up the sky with fireworks (hello Independence Day and New Year’s Eve), a nod to her vibrant and spirited personality.
